Houdini Pyro Study
A portal effect study inspired by the epic visuals of Marvel Studios. This project was part of my ongoing Houdini pyro exploration, where I focused on developing and refining different simulation styles using Houdini and Redshift.
In this project, I created two different portal variations a fiery version and a blue energy based version each with its own visual mood and atmosphere. Alongside the portal effects, I also created a separate explosion simulation study to further experiment with pyro behavior, shading, lighting, and overall cinematic presentation.
It was a great technical and creative challenge that allowed me to push deeper into simulation workflows, look development, and rendering techniques.
